There is this Sea Monster.
The Sea Monster comes and gets me for music. The timing is completely wild. Astrologically, Neptune is unaspected in my chart. The musical beast is autonomous.
In one such period, I was abducted for about two years during which LOTS of songwriting went down. The chord progressions for each of the songs are in a safe place.
The lyrics are in Bard Poet.
Most of the poems are centered around the 12-bar Blues format, although there is at least one 11-bar turn around. Some of the songs use Jazz chords.
Unlike a lot of Blues, instead of, "woe is me," and, "it's her / his fault," I found myself writing my way through much of the gender debate. (As I understood the challenges and questions at the time.)
I read song craft books. Listened to songs I knew in new ways.
More importantly, I needed to give the Sea Monster some bandwidth in the book series so there would be an ally while writing long form fiction.
As a result, every book in the series has at least a few lines of poetic verse.
Maurllan.
